The unofficial line is already being discussed for Indy and someone has already designated themselves line leader...an admin on the Indy concert FB page.  Sounds like it might start Friday morning Sept 8th...show is on Sept 10th.   ::)

Ridiculous

ah yes a new band i AM familiar with. i got their album Lost in the Dream album 2 years ago. Not bad! imo it was a mixture of Springsteen/Pink Floyd. the vocals were very Bruce or even Mark Knopfler. It's good to chill out to but i don't see them as "rock" in the traditional or anthemic sense.

Lost in the Dream is a great "road trip" album. I never get tired of it. Love the vibe.

The War on Drugs. Love that band, amazing music.
Their new album is due in next week, and the songs released so far are great.

Anyways, here's the piece about them in The New Yorker

So ATYCLB was a personal album, Bomb was an even more personal album, SOE was a hugely personal album and this is going to be even more personal than that was. Im really starting to think that 'personal' basically means 'we havent a f****** clue what to write songs about anymore'.

Funny thing is, Bono has probably never been more personal than on the Pop album. Personal is best when it is complemented with something more.
Pop is a personal album?  I obviously need to go back to listen to it again- its been a few years.  Not sure any album could be more personal that SOI.

Mofo. Nuff said.

Holy dunc spacejunk comin' in for the splash

mother am i still your son? yknow ive waited so long to hear you say so. soothe me mother....

it's actual very personal.

Let's hope they steer clear of another stunt.

Helping AIDS is of course a good cause - but people can do it without a u2 album being linked to doing so.

Yes but not as many will donate and be engaged without a stunt to go with it.

It's not the way it should be but it's true.

I know that...i just don't like the idea - and as well intentioned as it would be i am sure it will just open up the band to more criticism.
Like it or not, it's a very U2 thing to do. They raised $8M for (RED) by donating a $1 for every time a person downloaded invisible from itunes back in 2014.....

I am aware of that and to be fair donating like that is much better in my eyes than linking a whole album release and what people pay for it to raising money like is being suggested here.

A 1 from every album they sell without too much fuss would be much better IMHO
