I know, I'm scared to open a thread about Boots now! I love the rawness....and the only thing it has in common with Vertigo is a kickass riff. My only complaint is the lack of an Edge solo - BUT NO BIG DEAL. This song is amazing and is a whole new genre for U2. Hm...they don't know how beautiful the song is...they don't get it do they? ;)

I don't wanna talk about the wars between U2 fans...

Lol juls. I learned my lesson last nite. I forgot how bad it can be in here.  And evel, I agree on the Edge solo. I just posted that in another thread. I was hoping for an Edge solo ala The Fly. But that ending does it for me. Larry's drumming and Bono's chant "let me in the sound. " And underneath all that, I hear a nice little riff by Edge thats good enough for me.

Yikes, look out for the thread about America's Song....people are starting to say it's "too patriotic" and stuff - I sense an argument on the horizon.

I wonder if some people here also hate rainbows and mewing kittens and babies' laughter and sunshine.

Anthony - I love the "let me in the sound" part too! Best is how Bono sings "God, Im going down, I dont wanna drown now, meet me in the sound..."

Hi all.  Been a while since I've been on, I was getting quite frustrated with all of the negativators.  I decided to take a break from these forums cuz all I was reading was negative stuff.  I decided tonight, that I would just look at the thread titles and immediately saw this one.

Great idea for a thread.  I love the new song.  The boys are in tip top shape.  Everyone contributes beautifully to this song.  But, for the first time ever for me, the thing that sticks out the most upon listening to the song 15 times or so, is Adam's sweeeeeet bass riff.  I love it!!!!!  It is so amazingly catchy.  I have a two year old little girl and immediately when I put this son on she started dancing and running all over the house.  It was great.  I cannot wait for MARCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Thank you for starting this thread.  I am not even going to read any of the other thread titles.
