Good argument!

...So, how much do you love Bono's rambling about absolutely nothing? Just... when he goes on complete tangents and no-one has any idea what he's talking about but he keeps speaking and you can tell he increasingly knows it! It's like when sometimes you realise what you're saying makes no sense, but you keep talking anyway in the desperate hope that no-one will notice!  :D  And he's so earnest about it that it's impossible not to love him for it!  :D

(I particularly love how he pauses after "and some time later..." when describing Larry, clearly having absolutely no idea what to say next!  :D )

...

...

It was the other night anyway, and that was crap!  >:( Bono forgot half the lyrics and the band were really down and they butchered A Sort of Homecoming.

...Whereas when you were there, Bono's voice was gone. >_>

Well I get to see them in June, twice. And I'm making a pilgrimage to the Joshua Tree, Zabriskie Point, and the Harmony Motel.

Well, I'm seeing them twice this year as well. And I can visit the U2 wall, as well as any of their houses, in less than three hours.  8) And my dad shared champagne with Bono! :P

I've already visited the wall, and one of their houses (the only one I care to see), I've had a pint in a pub Bono frequents, I can visit the Million Dollar Hotel and the place where they shot the video for Streets in half an hour, and YOUR DAD shared champagne with Bono, not you :P

Ooh, wow, you've already visited them- I can do it any time. Having a pint in any pub in Dublin is having a pint in a pub Bono frequents. And c'mon- Million Dollar Hotel? Streets video? These are NOTHING to the Holy Grails of Mount Temple, of Slane, of The Point, of Windmill Studios, of their houses...

Now if you're done failing to out-U2-fan-me, I shall return to Bonomanning!

So what if you can do it any time? You could, doesn't mean you do. Just because you have the advantage of living on the same island doesn't mean you win. Bleedin' UKer. :P
