What I wish they'd have done for this album is provide a few tracks from NLOTH split out into vocals, drum bass and guitar and encouraged fans to make their own remixes. There's enough people that know their way around fruity loops or ableton now to do a better job...

That'd be cool.

Yea totally. NIN Bloc Party and  Radiohead have all done that

Yup, I know. Would be better than some of the half baked remixes we've got here...

That would be awesome . . . except that we might never see Exile again, he'd be so busy.  ;)

They did? That is awesome.
I have no idea how to remix but it would be cool if they did that for those of you who can.  Freaking awesome.  It would be great to hear some of your remixes.

Cripes I got so distracted that I forgot to say I was actually there when the mailman came today...not like a stalker, and no CD yet.
boo.  :'(
The Postman was wearing shorts though..which I thought was hilarious because it is not warm here.  I guess he heard "high of -3 today with windchill" and he thought shorts.

I like the Beautiful Day mix for a couple reasons: a) it's not a typical techno/dance remix, and b) the menacing-sounding baseline really turns the song in an unexpected direction. However, the lack of a vocal or a replacement melody means I probably won't listen to it all that often, but it's interesting.

I had a chance to listen to it. I love it! I happen to love remixes. I didn't really have any so I am happy to have this in my collection!

So I don't know if this is worth thread-age or not but I just got my Artificial Horizon CD in the mail today! Any one else got theirs?

I live in salt lake city UT... So I'm guessing most US addresses are delivering now... how about our neighbors up north? Canada? EU?? South America? Aussies?

How's everyone else doing?

Guy's, don't mean to be rude here... but it's actually an amazing compilation! Listening to the live version of crazy is making the wait till june way to long! it's gotten me back in the 360 mode. And the beatiful day remix (although just intrumental) is really something else!

hope you get it soon!

No! Not at all I just didn't want to sound like I was sarcastic saying "ha ha I have it and you don't!" kida' thing... It is amazing and since I don't have all single I was missing like 8 out of all 13 songs.

You wait till you get it and you'll see.. Worth the wait!
