Dang, zoost.  Way to give a girl a heart attack.

These are the two songs that convey the concept of heaven to me.  I have a saved-my-life relationship with Bad, and Streets is the song that keeps me going now.

Had to go with Bad because of my history with it, plus the elation that comes with hearing those sequencers start at a live gig (yeah, I know the poll was about album versions).  You *know* U2 is going to play Streets, and you kind of psych yourself up for it.  But if you get Bad?  Well, words can't describe that feeling.   :)

Yep sorry efdeat. I expect a lot of replies on this thread like this.  :D

Made you think didn't I?

Yes, Zoost, you gave me plenty to think about!  :)  I'm looking forward to seeing who else wrestles with this as much as me.

'Bad' is an outstanding song, but it doesn't compare to 'Streets'.

I'm glad you specified album version only...that made my choice easy - Bad.

If you said live, it would have to be Streets.

U2 always sound better on record than in live performance.

Streets is still a brilliant live song for me, but my last favorite great versions of it were on the PopMart tour. Bad to me has only really started to wane due to Bono's older voice since Vertigo.

I fully agree, regardless of The Exile's criticisms on Bono's vocal range at that time.

U2's live sound has become very samey to my ears.

The Elevation version of Until The End Of The World was my last great version of it.

I thought the Vertigo version was ok, it was the highlight of all 26 shows I saw  :)

And, it was the highlight of the one and only 360 show I saw!

But yes, the quality has dipped, but not as much as Streets and Bad. Thats just down to natural ageing of Bono's voice, UTEOTW does not have to be sung at as high a range as Bad and Streets.
