The best performance I ever saw live was in Philadelphia on September 2, 1992 - ZOO TV Outside Broadcast.  I was very close to the stage for UTEOTW and the acoustic set which featured Angel of Harlem.  That still was the best of the 13 concerts that I've seen.

On record I have to say any number of the Lovetown shows.  The Dublin New Year's Eve show is great, but so is the Lovetown finale from Rotterdam.

The three indoor Zoo TV shows I saw. Quite simply, the best rock & roll shows I have ever seen (including my 38 other U2 shows)!

LOL, I was not 'banging' on about it as you so eloquently put it  :D

I was just trying to answer the question by comparing my favorites to other U2 shows I had been too.

Chill.

"Bad", Oct.20th, 2005, Wash D.C., Vertigo tour. Why? Their best live song and I was in the very front of the inner circle, directly below Bono. Doesn't get much better.

What's the problem. You always state (in bold, I might add) that you think NLOTH is U2's best album since AB. We all know that too.
