Ye we used to do the same thing hear in England. most of the big box offices you could never get through  but we would always phone Blackburn king Georges Hall a small box office near us. never had any trouble .
Unfortunately it doesn't work anymore!
so unless we get pre-sale the mad scramble for tickets like everyone else   :(
i used to use a little ticket shop in birmingham that nobody really used.the birmingham ticket shop.around the elevation tour people had been queing all night at nec and the tickets sold out online pretty much before most people got to window.luckily i was ticket office in birmingham when they annouced extra dates and got my tickets! im hopiong that there will be a presale for u2.com members i know it kinda got a bit messed up last time but it kinda gives the FANS a better chance than a free for all on general sale !
