Bottoms (Watashitachi No Ookina Yume) was an instrumental Japanese bonus track, a remix of Zoo Station. :)

Sorry if there's been a poll like this before! :-\

I'm just interested ;)

My personal favourite is Slug! :D

Corpse. I love Edge's singing. He rather sounds like Thom Yorke there, really.
Slug and Elvis Ate America I rather like too.

Corpse, and not only the vocals, but the whole song/album is a precursor to what Radiohead chose as a direction.

But this is a listen-through album, and there are several tracks I love. Slug, YBR (genius idea with the astronaut live, wish he'd listened to the song prior to phoning in his words) Different Kind/Beach sequence, Ito Okashi, 1 min.warning, Elvis, Plot...

It is a rather successful piece of musical minimalism, I say. And I'd have favoured BABEL as the act name, would have been a perfectly round little circle with Until The End of The World (my fave Wenders movie from '91)

Miss Sarajevo is brilliant, but something about Let's Go Native really gets to me. And the drum beat reminds me of Refugee.

For me, more and more recently, Passengers has really started to grow on me.  I bought it at a used record store about 9-10 years ago.  There really are some songs on there, some really good songs.  Besides Miss S and YBR, check out Slug and Always Forever Now.  The latter was used in the amazing 1995 crime drama "Heat".  Check that film out if you like good movies.

That time period 94-96 was an interesting one for U2.  They definetly itched their movie bone with Heat and Batman Forever and Larry and Adam doing Mission Impossible

I think Passengers is a personal album.  Meant to be listened on headphones and completely focused on the music.  Try reading the liner notes as you listen to the album.

I know why Larry didn't care for the album.  Where are the f'ing drums?!?
