Do you think that U2 will have made a deal with the organisers to allow them to incorporate their own stage design? Maybe similar to the ZOO TV shows where the stage catwalk reaches into the crowd??

Wouldnt think so - no matter how big you are I think the most they will get is a view on lighting and maybe stage drop. As far as i'm aware the Pyramid stage is the the stage and no one tampers - its kind of iconic.

The pyramid will stay the same - but all the headliners i have seen at glasto get their own personalised stage to fit 'in' the pyramid, which is pretty damn big. I wouldn't be surprised to see a return of either the Vertigo LED curtain or the Elevation rotating lights.
