I've never really liked Bullet the Blue Sky and was glad it wasn't part of the 360 tour.
I'm not a big fan of the Mephisto makeup.

I stole one of Larry's drum fills from Until The End of the World for a song that my band plays. :-[

YOU MONSTER!  >:(

 :D

Not the whole thing, mind you, but basically just the whole two quick snare hits at the start. :-[

OK

I have never heard Mercy, Stateless, Salome or Native Son (although I bet I'd like them if I heard them)
I really HATE I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight - and its a stupid name too
I think Magnificent istheir best song since Beautiful Day
I'm glad they dropped Pride and Bullet the Blue Sky, I was sick of them (and wish they'd drop SBS too)
I think Get On Your Boots sounds awful on the Rose Bowl show
I don't think The Joshua Tree is in their top 5 albums, but I DO like it ;)
I hate The Wanderer, although maybe I'd like it if Bono or Edge sang it
I think Pop is a great album, but it took a long time to convince me
I like the short hair much better than the mullet
and finally....

I loved the 2001 version of Walk On (with the hallalujahs) but I'm not thrilled by the 360 rendition

glad I got that off my chest ;D

I went to see Paul McCartney on Sat just gone and for a split second I thought "This is far better than expected...... I should have listened to more of him as a teen instead of playing my R&T tape to the ground"

i'm a huge fan of u2's 90's output, yet i haven't bought a copy of passengers. i've only actually listened to a few tunes from it. i don't think i'm missing much though as the songs sound a bit too radioheadesque for my liking.

On the contrary, I find Radiohead too Passengers-esque. Actually no I love both. but still.

I never told my husband I have tickets for the Denver show.  I was going to wait till the show got closer, and then it got postponed, so I guess I'll wait some more.  I went to see the Oklahoma show last fall, and I know he thinks one U2 show should be plenty!   ???

Snap, lorijane! I bought my Wembley ticket last year without telling him - he did say I was a big girl and could do what I wanted, but I didn't mention that *specific* event - and when I did tell him, he FLIPPED OUT.  I've kept him in the loop since.   :)

No kidding!  The guy in the room next to mine in Norman was at his 12th show of the 360 tour alone!  Not sure how many total he had been to over the years.
