Larry needs to get this for Bono and tie it up to his drum kit!

Problem solved!

Then Bono could sing that Korn song: Freak on a Leash.

Sweet Mother Mary and Joseph, I never thought these words would ever have to be spoken again but what the holy hell is up with Adam's hair in that clip???

 :o *twitch* *twitch*

If Larry put Bono on a leash, I would probably cry. From laughing so hard. :D :D :D :D :D

That's a cool stage setup. I think it could work. They probably will keep their same old spots though.

Larry Mullen should sing "Dirty Ol' Town" at each concert.

Can any of you "crafters" out there do a photoshop of Bono being leashed up to Larry's drum kit?

That would make for an awesome album cover for NLOTH ;)

maybe in addition to the leash, they could put up one of those electric fences, you know the ones that let your dog know can't go any further?  Maybe this way he will know when he is too close to the edge of the stage and it would keep him from falling off?

Or let him know when he's too close to The Edge. Sorry I couldn't resist!  ;D

I am interested to hear if other U2 fans believe as I do that on this tour "less is more" when it comes to Bono...  I would love to see Larry Mullen Jr. be front and center (literally) on this tour and have Bono all the way in the back banging on a tambourine or playing his three chords on his little red guitar.

I remember a really cool youtube video of a very early performance of "I Will Follow" by U2 where Larry Mullen Jr is front and center and Bono is way in the back singing.  This was incredible in its architecture and enhanced the sound of the band.

Interestingly, the newest single, "Get On Your Boots" is really a LMJ vehicle and the song is a subtle hint of U2's ultimatum to Bono to stop preaching on about things other than music.  Bono is addressing the band to let himself back in:  "Let Me in the sound".

Do you agree that having U2 tour with Larry Mullen Jr. front and center on his drum kit would make for a more enjoyable tour and U2 experience in 2009/2010?

Like they were the Jon Spence Blues Explosion??

I just want the Lemon backkk!

Anyway, here is my hastily made and rather crap muck-up of Bono on a leash. Also included is a food bowl (for when he gets peckish between songs), and an electric fence to keep him away from the edge/The Edge. Because as we know, no-one can touch The Edge.

Cannot say how much I LOVE this!  ;D

I did notice though that Larry looked real comfortable center stage, but Bono looked like he was going to snap confined to the upper spot.

LMJ band - I like it!
