I still hold out hope for an Edge solo album.

Don't hold your breath. I don't think any member of U2 will ever go solo.

Edge is a great singer and complements Bono perfectly. He is all over Boots and sounds great.

U2 is far greater than the sum of its parts, but if you think there'd be a U2 without Bono, you're crazy.

I would like to see The Edge do a song with Rob Thomas a bit like Santana did.

I reckon it would clean up at the Grammys.

Wow, imagine how good Dik Evans would be if he really was better than Edge/David.  :o

That was a good read, surely Bono and Dik have forgiven each other by now?  ;D

Van Deiman's Land and Numb should be played at every concert.

Numb is a nice track but it is rather pointless in a concert.

i think the edge should sing or duet with bono on a bonus track on every U2 album from now on .maybe larry aswell lol :o

One of the thing I liked of the Soul Assassin's Numb remix was that I could finally hear (well, I and all of us) Larry's voice saying "I feel numb"... I think that they all could do vocals for one track would be great... if they knew how to work that out...

Numb - is still U2's most relevant song, even today.

I hope we get some great Edge-and-Eno background vocals on the new album, like was the case on Lemon and One Minute Warning.

If not, I think Edge should get another lead vocal song of his own, rather sooner than later - but not on every album to come. In fact, he should have sung Miracle Drug all by himself.

The Edge should turn up one day on American Idol or Britian's got talent and sing his way to a recording contract.
