putting photos up
« on: September 05, 2010, 04:22:22 PM »
This is probably really basic but...how do I get photos from photobucket (or anywhere else) to this forum without them being 'too big'? Please help as I feel guilty that I get to look at everyone elses lovely pics but don't know how to post any myself. The more basic the explanation, the better. Many thanks.xx :)

Good thing I did a search before starting a brand new thread. I was actually gonna ask the same thing?

Any idea?

You put "img" without quotes in brackets.

You put the URL of the image right after the bracket with img in it.

You put "/img" in brackets right after the URL.

Isn't it easier to just click the pic icon that appears above the reply box amongst all the other options - that loads the aforementioned [IMG][IMG] and you just paste the URL in the middle.

Would actually be better if when clicking that icon a box appeared where you paste the URL then click ok though, as it is a bit fiddly making sure you click dead in the middle of those IMG brackets.

That works, too, except not if you use "Quick Reply" below.
