February 2011 is not going to be about the "Big 5" in Africa but the "Big 4" - The Edge, Bono, Adam and Larry!. It will be quite interesting to see how the show at the FNB stadium will be like - the first ever Band to play there and most probably the first ever in Soweto! I think it will be really different to all the other stadiums they visited - under African sky, brand new stadium, first ever in Soweto.

I think they will revert to more of their classic songs than the new ones on these dates for Africa, seeing that there is most probably not such a big fan base here in comparison to the rest of the world.

PS - but I surely won't mind them playing Acrobat...

Well, this rumor has been confirmed - thanks to all the U2 fans that kept us up to date! I hope the South African shows will be just as magical, and that some U2 fans from other countries will join us!

THe 2 zones are R 2580. Field tickets +- R 420.
Then.... the pit is only for u2 subscribers..Thats why there is no pricing on that area.

It looks like the South African leg of the U2 360 Degree Tour is going to be quite one to remember...

With over 100 000 capacity, if all the tickets sell, it will be the biggest of the 360 Degree tour - even more than the 96 000 of the Rose Bowl show! It will be the single biggest show that South Africa has ever seen - but it will also be U2's biggest - sounds like the recipe for one amazing show!!

Who would have thought the biggest U2 show would be in Africa - especially in Soweto? Welcome back U2!

I think Reggio Emilia was the biggest U2 show at ~150,000

This would be the biggest on this leg however...

I think it was free admittance for about 100,000 of those Italian fans.

Looking forward to my first trip to South Africa ....have GA for Cape Town but struck out with Joburg tickets. I'd love to get Red Zone for Joburg but the only RZ I've seen for sale on the secondary market are more outrageous than usual....I wish all that money went to fund (RED) projects :)

Not true.  The pit is for the fans that line up first.  All you need is a regular GA ticket.

I don't think so, The Estadio Azteca has more capacity than FNB Stadium
