Forgive me, is there a difference btween a Mexican Wave & a regular wave? 

Mexican wave is the one where you throw your sombrero up every time.   ;)

That would be really cool. A Sombrero thrown up in the air wave.  :D

not only did we get one between the bands, but it always seems to me that the crowd at the shows I saw did ones during "Mysterious Ways"... every time!

Not true SG and shame on you for saying so!  We usually save it for baseball and football games, I don't think I've ever seen the wave during a concert in the NY area.
