Somehow i cant see him running around the eclipse AKA elevation tour to streets he's probably only make it 1/2 way  :P

It's probably worth remembering that the circles of the 360 stage is an awful lot bigger than the heart was!

He tried to run it at my concert, almost made it  ;D

I'm not saying the guys isn't good...he is and shows it. That's not my point. Let me say it in a more direct way: is Bono overweight and if so, could he perform better if he wasn't?

Seriously, where do you see this being an issue? Maybe last year, it was a slight, ever so slight issue, but now? I don't get it.

Bono's a 50 year old bloke with a dodgy back; what do you want?  An Olympic performance?

I'm sure he'd have fit enough to snag a few lazy golds at the Commonwealth Games.  ;)

^^
I was on rail at Chicago 2 and his 'faint' was part of the act. He ran around that stage twice, once with a little boy.
Anybody see the article about the actor, Paul Rudd, who encountered him in a hotel's gym? Rudd nearly died trying to keep up with him.

Bono doesn't do anything by halves. He's prepared in every way for his tours and I'm sure he's the fittest one on the stage.  He also runs around the stadiums to check the sound and sight-lines before the show. Someone posted (here?) that they were working security and had to keep a watch out as otherwise he'd run them down. :D

In the interest of being scientific, I have examined this picture carefully.  I can safely say, after careful, detailed observation that he looks fine to me.

Well he's not as slender as he used to be, but he's not 25 anymore either. He still puts on a great show.

And in ATL, he did run that ring. And quite quickly I might add!

That always amazes me.  Of course, I messed up my knee years ago playing softball, so anyone running anywhere impresses me!

I know it was, but the fact is that he ran that whole thing like a pro; I know I can't do that :P

All you whiners complaining he doesn't move so much, just wait till you're coming up on 50.

As someone who is a few years away from it, let me tell you that EVERYTHING becomes tougher to do physically. Getting out of bed, walking up and down stairs, etc. Things start to creak and crack, and every injury takes longer to heal.
