Bono's not a fan of if you wear that velvet dress, stating ''It wanted to be a lounge classic. It ended up in an airport lounge as background noise''. This is the Pop version though. I listened to pop on vinyl tonight, it is so good, I'm really starting to appreciate it. It might even have the best lyrics of all the albums.

Well, Bono's just wrong about that.  ;D  It's the sexiest U2 song ever, and I love it.

I immediately thought of With A Shout (Jeruselem). I think there is a quote on the home page from Edge about, "There is a song called Jerusalem that I wouldn't mind NOT hearing ever again." or something to that effect. When and where is their opinion about A Celebration revealed? Can't remember where, but someone showed them a clip of the "Street Missions" video recently, and Bono wanted to hide under his chair.

It would be interesting to hear some of the stories about some of the recent B-Sides released with remasters, like Angels Too Tied to the Ground and Speed of Life, Yoshino Blossoms, etc., and what about them kept them from being on the albums. Some of these songs have no story whatsoever tied to them.

I. Love. With A Shout. I don't know why Edge doesnt. :( Makes me sad.

Bono apparently hates the lyrics to Streets.  :P

Well the Ramones story seems to be right, but I think there's more to it than that.  My guess is they play it for Ali.

Well, he has been in the 360 Tours introducing the song with, "I'll be home, honey."

Yeah, but Bono says a lot of things, that doesn't make them completely true.

Bono doesn't like the lyrics to Elvis Presley & America, either.

he never got the chance to write any! that whole vocal was an improvisation, and Eno wouldn't let him re-record it.

U2 actually dislikes most of the Passengers: Original Soundtracks 1 collaboration.
