1. Number of NLOTH songs further declines- probably Boots or Magnificent (Possibly both?)
2. Stingray stays as opener but leads into a new lead single
3. EBW, Mercy, Boy Falls, North Star all appear at least semi-regularly
4. Return of at least one live classic- The Fly / Bullet the Blue Sky
5. More regular appearance of Pride after skipping Europe leg
6. At least 2-3 unplayed songs replacing some NLOTH songs, Miss Sarajevo, IALW, UTEOTW

Possible:

7. Go Crazy remix is replaced by new similarly rave-influenced piece from new album

Quote
while North Star remains in a diminished capacity

I'm curious about why you think 'diminished' when the evidence is that this is the song which the band feel got the best audience response?

I think that if North Star is not on an official release leading in to North America, its setlist spot will be occupied with a newer song and North Star, in my opinion, will be played something like once a week.  So over 25 concerts, maybe 7 will have NS.  If it IS on an official release, then I could see it being played more often.  Leading into Mercy like in Europe maybe

Egypt.

Thats the EXACT reason why Sunday Bloody Sunday will more than likely stay.

I think Love & Peace Or Else would lyrically fit with the Egypt situation better than SBS.

The surge in violence occurring in Egypt I think is exemplified in Sunday Bloody Sunday more than Love and Peace or Else.  I could see Love and Peace being better in a political sense concerning Mubarak though.  But I think U2 would much rather sing towards the protestors, which would be more suited for SBS....if all of that makes sense

I would not be surprised at all if LAPOE came back though, I would LOVE it.  Such a good song and a favorite of mine

I love SBS and LPOE. So, I'd take either one in concert.

Back to the situation in Egypt, I honestly believe that Please is the perfect song for it.

I wouldn't be surprised for it to appear again.

This is like the 20th time I asked for Please  :D

Please also would work well.

I'm just sick of SBS. The explicit reference to a PARTICULAR event makes it feel outdated and inapplicable to other situations in my mind, where L&PoE and Please are general enough to be applied to any event like this.

If Mubarak is still in power this summer, they will have to play Surrender.
