Ultravox Reforming?
« on: October 23, 2008, 11:42:36 AM »
I have no idea how many people here even heard of the 1980's synth-band Ultravox or how many actually followed them, but those of you who did may be interested to know that differences within the band seem to have been set aside and there is talk of them reforming.  The lineup that would get together would be the Midge Ure, Billy Currie, Chris Cross and Warren Cahn version of the band.  Sorry John Foxx supporters!

I would think that Britain and Germany would get shows if they reform, but I'm likely out of luck in the States.   >:(

I'd prefer a Foxx-era lineup reunion, but this would be good enough as well.

*fingers crossed*

...speaking of reunions, there's talk of a one-off Pink Floyd show - a final tribute to Rick and Syd.

It's official...the Ultravox reunion is on.  Midge Ure, Billie Currie, Chris Cross and Warren Cann will be touring in the UK next Spring.

I have all their stuff from back then. Glad to hear they are reforming.  Thanks for that info. They were great. We could use more of the great 80's stuff to replace some of today's junk.
