I used to think I was the Bono of corporate learning but now I think I have to revise that a little. Still not sure what I am the Bono of, but everyone is the Bono of something.

Just remember that.
I think I have lost my Bononess.
You can't lose your Bononess. You know that.

I wish that was true.

It is. Case closed.

I take it you are still recovering from your trip?

Yeah. Spent most of the day sleeping then took Katie around town to see the damage. As annoying as looky loos are, I have found that seeing what has happened to the town is like going to a funeral. It's hard to accept it until you actually see it.

I'm getting back to work on the DRO tomorrow. Tomorrow and Wednesday I will be a Community Liaison which means that I will be registering and screening spontaneous volunteers. I have no idea where I will be after that, I just go where they point me.

Are you still working at that chicken place? Or did this disaster, such that it was, timely rescue you from all of that? ;)

I am no longer working at Bojangles and I'll leave it at that.

It's not. I mean, I wasn't happy there, but it was a paycheck. Now Chicago will have to go the way of Baltimore, Philly and New York.

It's alright. There is always next tour and at least I got to see one show. Plus, the way this spring has been, I'll probably be working a hurricane or something anyway.

^^^Agreed!  ;D

I am wondering if each of us is either too shy to post what we're the Bono of or unsure of what we're that good at.

I've never thought I've put Bono up on a pedestal, but now I am realizing that I think he is the best at so many things.  Obviously the phrase "Bono of" implies that one is pretty darn good at that thing.

However, I would offer up a few thoughts on others here.

I think that Mon is the Bono of disaster relief.
And SG is the Bono of moderators.  (not saying the other @U2 mods aren't good)
EC is the Bono of MacPhisto love and great music discussions (and/or singing)
And Beli is the Bono of good advice.

Beli is right-- each of us is really good at something-- it is the gift, the talent which we bring to the people around us.
"Everyone is the Bono of something."   Figure it out and rock your world!

"The world is more malleable than you think!"  "It's your world, you can change it!"

(*steps down off soapbox*  see-- thought I might be a Bono of soapboxes.  ;D)
Oh, but Faris, I love you being the Bono of soapboxes. ;D
I love everything you have to say here because I agree with each of your decisions!
I've been thinking all night on this. I might be the Bono of being the complete opposite of Bono. :P But who knows. I did have one thought but I'm too nervous to post it.
Anyway, can't wait for tomorrow... ;)
