6. NLOTH
7. Pop
8. Zooropa

Good to see some TUF love!!

Yes, TUF is solidly my second favorite U2 album. My first four never really change positions. I think TUF is a great, moody album. The title track itself induces goosebumps. I love every song on the album. Yes, even 4th of July and Elvis Presley and America. :)

1. Achtung Baby
2. Zooropa
3. No Line on the Horizon
4. Original Soundtracks 1
5. The Unforgettable Fire
6. How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb
7. The Joshua Tree
8. Pop
9. All That You Can't Leave Behind
10. War
11. Rattle and Hum
12. Boy
13. October

I'm not ranking based on contents, but on how the album stands as a cohesive whole (which is basically what determines my preference anyways).

Proof that I'm not alone in thinking that No Line On The Horizon is more cohesive than its predecessors.

No matter what one thinks of the quality of October I don't know how it could be argued the album wasn't pretty consistent in its tone and theme.

Indeed. It flows very well. I like collections of good songs like HTDAAB, but the songs on NLOTH fit smoothly into each other and I like it.
