It's always the same times, same channels on the friday - due to the 'set in stone' 'newsnight' on bbc2 at 10.30pm

And it depends how many timer options you've got on your dvd, mine copes with it easliy - i can set about thirty to be honest.

Just as long as NOTHING is cut.

When Bruce played a couple of years ago they cut 'No Surrender'.

More than no surrender was cut of bruce's set - opened with joe strummer's 'coma girl' but the coverage opened with badlands as if nothing had happened there were also other tv omissions. U2 are far more open to the broadcasting of their gigs than springsteen's management allow him to be - knowing u2 they'll probably provide dvd covers somewhere along the line.

Just enjoy the fact that you're going to get the full gig, it'll also be on bbc i player etc so unless there are rights issues everyone should be able to watch around the world.

BBC3 or BBC4 will definitely show it a few days after in full so I'll be able to record that. Just annoying that I'll have to record it on the two different channels, my Sky+ is bound to mess me about.

Hopefully they release it as a DVD, if it's as good as I expect it to be, I'd rather have a Glasto DVD than another 360 one.

The BBC have a dedicated Glasto website which I believe streams the shows live, but only to UK residents. BBC - Glastonbury Festival - Home

However, you can download some free software called ExpatShield which will allow you view the show from outside the UK on the BBC iplayer. I have used it to watch some soccer games and it worked very well.

Enjoy.
