Yeah, but they have to be cool with it, and only mention it after they've won over the majority of the crowd.

I know it's the elephant in the room, but I don't see how he addresses it without getting booed, no matter how won over the crowd is. The best thing to do would be to make light of it, maybe a quip about them, about how EVERYONE is welcome, good to see Glastonbury tradition of rebellion etc. But not for more than a minute.

I've noticed it as well, his talking through bits of songs. However, at the most recent show I saw in Seattle, he sang everything. He sounded better than I've ever heard him at any show I have seen before. Fingers crossed his voice is just feeling better these days or something.
