Realistic possibilities for Chicago set list changes
« on: June 28, 2011, 08:27:56 PM »
Seeing as the show is the day after I could see them pulling out 4th of July in at least snippet form. Also it is very close to the anniversary of Greg Carroll's death and One Tree Hill could be added.

I don't intend this to be a wish list, but if you have any insight as to a change that might be made go ahead and post.

Well Bono can't snippet 4th of July so it'll have to be done by another member of the band  :D

They're going to play Bad... they always play Bad in Chicago.

I was hoping that we might see some minor setlist adjustments in those markets where 360 visited in 2009 - Chicago, Toronto, New York.

At this point one new song put into the set would be a big deal.

LOL yeah, I didn't know what term to use besides snippet, but I was thinking as a transitional piece between Bad (which I too think they will play) and One.

But I think it's true, one song change would be a big deal. Always wanted to hear All I Want is You, but I have no thought other than the 2 I mentioned that would lead me to believe in changes.

Last time U2 was in Chicago, Bad was performed, Pride was dropped and Your Blue Room, of all songs, debuted... There'd better be something special this time around as well :P

Thanks guys, just hope and luck really. Not saying it to brag, but saying it because it was a great moment. JT is my fave album, with so many haunting songs like that, but ones that don't get played live. Truly a once in a lifetime event! Wish you all could have been there.
