I voted for the live debut of North Star, Stingray and Glastonbury. Not just because of the new songs, but the fact that they decided to debut them on Bono's first concert back from his operation.

A close second is Zooropa's live debut as well as Mercy getting played too.

I can't believe no-one has voted for the live debut of Electrical Storm yet. I thought that song was a fan fave  ???

I suppose another surprise, that isn't included on the list, is the dropping of Magnificent on numerous shows.

With all due respect to Scarlet and the NEW 2010 songs...

Your. Blue. Room.

The biggest setlist surprise of their career, not just 360.

Nothing about Mothers being played?

It was debuted at the same show Mercy was, so you can vote for that show

Ah cool. D'ya reckon you could pop it in the poll just to make it a bit clearer?

I was surprised by the return of Hold Me, Thrill Me...

I though U2 had forgotten all about that song and that it'd never see the light of day again. I'm glad they brought it back and made it a regular on these last few legs.

I chose Helsinki 2.

I hearing the first ever performance of EBW was special - an intimate, unfinished acoustic version of a really great song. I could have never ever believed how quiet 50k+ people can be (while listening to EBW) - you would have heard a needle being dropped. Just magical!!!

And at Helsinki 2 we also got three or four (sorry, lost the count!) Singing in the Rain -snippets and the whole crowd sang it after MOS when U2 left the stage!

Great memories!!

I think YBR was a bigger surprise than Zooropa. Zooropa at least had appeared in some form and was occasionally mentioned by the band. It was obviously an ENORMOUS shock, but YBR is from an album even more ignored than Zooropa!  :D

Gonna have to add AIWIY in Nashville to the list!   That was a big surprise for me!   ;D

Its not a surprise though.  Its been played a bunch of times on this leg, and this isn't the first time this tour fans got to play an instrument on stage

And there's no chance anyone would vote for a Wanderer snippet as the biggest surprise of the ENTIRE TOUR, over the likes of the debuts of Zooropa, Every Breaking Wave, Bad, EBTTRT, and so on.  Come on people

Well, if there was a chance that they'd vote for a Discotheque snippet/mash-up.... :P

Just giving you a hard time, Soapy!  :D :P

The Discotheque mashup is actually ON the setlist though  :P

So is The Wanderer... :P

That sliver of The Wanderer was a surprise.  How about a verse or two every night at the tail end of Still Haven't Found...

To me the biggest surpises are what was left OFF the setlist:

No Pop songs
No Bullet the Blue Sky
Only 2 HTDAAB songs
No Electric Co.
No 40

Lack of Pop is a huge disappointment. Such a great underrepresented album. I wonder if the band knows it has fans.

Coimbra - Only time playing BFFTS

Since that is not there, I'll vote Zurich for Mercy

Nashville was also nice for the Wanderer
