How about I Will Follow on ZooTV?  Did they ever play it?

...Obviously, I was completely wrong and SBS *was* played on PopMart! *Facepalm*  :D I forgot, because it was acoustic. Then I'll amend my statement to say that NO mega-classic has ever missed a full tour since its debut.

It all depends on what you want to call a mega-classic though. I'd define those as the songs that make it almost every night of almost every tour and are instantly recognisable, the songs most people always want to see- which is, to my mind, just SBS, Pride, the Joshua Tree trio, One, Beautiful Day and Vertigo. Then around them you have the big hits that aren't quite as big and won't appear every night but will appear almost every tour with some exceptions- I Will Follow, New Years Day, Desire, AIWIY - and the live favourites like UTEOTW, Bad or Bullet.

Very rarely, but they did, even though it and SBS were completely out of tune with the (Much looser than many people acknowledge) 'theme' of the show, and its mood.

I wouldn't call Bullet a huge classic. Personally, I am SO GLAD it's dead.

I don't know if The Fly can be considered a big classic either. ???

Bullet will *definitely* be back though, it's been played more times than ISHF.

Well, on the brighter side if you aren't a fan of Bullet (I am, hugely!  :D) that probably enhances RTSS' chances since it has never once been played without Bullet preceding it, and it has only reappeared once since 1993- and even then only on a leg and a half. (I was lucky enough to see it in 2005!)

I used to be a big fan of Bullet, but now if I hear it more than once in the same month I get annoyed.  I just completely fell out of love with it.  And with RTSS, I've never really been a huge fan of it.  Its a great song, but I feel that Miss Sarajevo for example absolutely destroys it.  If U2 retired the Bullet-RTSS pairing for good, I won't lose sleep

I love Running To Stand Still! But never liked Bullet, though I tried. It was kind of cool on Zoo TV, but I'm just biased.

EC-- were you meaning would the boys tour again or when they tour would WoWY be a part of the set list?

Def. think they'll tour again, and I agree w/ the many others who've stated that for the most part the big hits do not miss a whole tour.

Most likely see this one again as well, I think.  :)

Was so sweet to see the effect on Bono of the last raising of the laser jacket.   Sad to see it all go.

Both. And I wouldn't mind if they didn't tour again... okay, maybe I would mind a bit, but I also have the irrational fear they're gonna drop WOWY or something else. Because I think it needs to be dropped, I'd just miss the live performances.

Here is another version-- really good version too!  This version also has HMTMKMKM, then WoWY, Bono talking and MoS.

WoWY could go the way of Bullet, but somehow I don't think it would... at least not for a whole tour.
