That is b/c they are newbies and dont appreciate the real U2, and dont realise what the Album War meant to them, and without that album there is no U2....

What gives you the right to pass judgment like that?

Probably because there is a tendency for newer folk to pass over the 80-83 period , think you really have to delve a little deeper, listen to a few boots , read a bit of "u2 by u2" maybe. Really appreciated the nod the band gave this tour to the old stalwarts like AnCatDubh/Into The Heart, Electric Co , finishing shows with 40 like they always did etc etc
Anyhoo when's the next round?

I HAVE listened to several ancient bootlegs, and I HAVE read U2 by U2. I know that the early years were really exciting! It's just my personal taste that I like some later albums better. I'm not passing over the early days at all! Unforgettable Fire is one of my favorite albums, and I think that every single concert should end with 40. I honestly do get it. And trust me, every single young fan wishes they were there to experience the beginning of U2. Stop rubbing it in! :-\
