Just to clarify,

I believe in God :) just not the context God is put in when it comes to religion

So - nonreligious theist, deist, or something else?

And screw it, instead of work I'll use this post to rally for a Pastafarianist-style U2ism. Because surely there's a niche for it.

Now to hammer out doctrine...

The Tree must die! GO GO GO AWAY JOSHUA PLANT!
Btw do you guys know that the Joshua tree, the one pictured for the album, died somewhere around 2000? Apparently a branch broke, and it couldn't sustain itself, ultimately falling down completely. :-\

Please tell me how Elvis Presely And America, Indian Summer Sky, 4th July & Promenade, although good songs, are peoples favorites above anything on War?

War should have stayed, IMHO  ;)

Interesting to see a certain jick never taking part in this poll! Im sure he would be interested to see Pop being in the final 4 of U2 fans' favorites - as voted for by the fans  :D

I'll take your Promenade and raise you a Red Light, take your Indian Summer Sky and raise you a Refugee (I actually like both Promenade and ISS)

It's all personal taste, but for me nothing on War comes close to A Sort of Homecoming or Bad

Personal taste? ::) Nothing wrong with that. I just happen to like the more atmospheric sound.

I hear you all on the personal taste thing, this is a fun thread, and Im having fun. I hear ya on Bad and A Sort Of Homecoming (and I LOVE Wire, and Pride and MLK). I just prefer War (along with Pop, I like EVERY song, yes even Red Light, on the album) - thats why they are my favorites. Oh, and the War cover was the reason I got into U2!
