Acrobat is an awesome song. Some of U2's best lyrics ever imo. Has it ever actually been performed live at all?

To each their own. Acrobat bores me to tears.

And it's opinions like that which indicate the awesome Acrobat is underrated.  The number of those who wish it's return to the live stage are definitely in a minority on this forum.

This just seems like insanity; it is of course possible that it is, in fact, an incredibly vocal minority.

Possibly it is, but still a minority all the same.

If we could also have a poll asking if people want The Real Thing played live from before 360, so that we can compare the results, then yes.

It troubles me that songs like Bullet the Blue Sky are some of their most played songs ever, yet Acrobat has never been played...

But... but.. you just said, with no qualifier or 'relative to EBTTRT' or anything of the sort, that 'the number of those who want its return to the live stage' are a minority.

Ah well, it's not really important, it's just a song!  :D

What can we do?  U2 underrate it.  That's that.

How does a song that's never been played live "return" to the stage? :P

It was, after all, rehearsed on a stage a few times, I guess. :P

The number of people who have called for Acrobat's return is a minority on this forum, albeit possibly a vocal one as I have already conceded.  That's a fact.  Of course I should have said 'have wished' which is what I meant and not 'wish'.

You expressed your opinion that The Real Thing is the most underrated song from AB prior to 2011 and I expressed my opinion that Acrobat is.  You said my opinion makes no sense, but of course it makes perfect sense.

Fair enough.
