Very difficult one because both are in my top 10, but I prefer Stay to Please.

Please.

Wont win. Too many younger fans who don't get what the song Please was all about.

You know what would be really clever TD. Next time we do poll on here, somehow do it by demographic. Not sure how you would do this, but it would be fairer and more interesting.

Maybe by decade. Say three different polls, one for those fans born in the 70's, those in the 80's etc?

Of course you would get dishonesty and trolling, but hey, we could try.

I'm thinking about the album versions, so I'm going please. If we were talking live, I'd vote Stay.

Other way round my friend.

Please is much superior live than on studio. Stay is much superior on record than live.

Stay got my vote.

To be fair, U2 haven't done justice to Stay, live.

Whatever Droo. I would like to see what other fans thoughts and favorites were that were introduced to the band at the same time as I was. Sorry If my post offended you, I forgot how young you were.

Of course they haven't. Zoo TV was the closest we got to seeing it played brilliantly, since then it hasn't been executed in the same, or better, manner.

Your post is dismissive in tone of the opinion of any fan who is younger than you, unless I misunderstand you.

Did it ever occur to anyone that a person could just not like Please that much without it having to do with their age or them "not getting it"?
