You know what would be really clever TD. Next time we do poll on here, somehow do it by demographic. Not sure how you would do this, but it would be fairer and more interesting.

Maybe by decade. Say three different polls, one for those fans born in the 70's, those in the 80's etc?

Of course you would get dishonesty and trolling, but hey, we could try.

What elitist ageist nonsense.

Whatever Droo. I would like to see what other fans thoughts and favorites were that were introduced to the band at the same time as I was. Sorry If my post offended you, I forgot how young you were.

Your post is dismissive in tone of the opinion of any fan who is younger than you, unless I misunderstand you.

Did it ever occur to anyone that a person could just not like Please that much without it having to do with their age or them "not getting it"?

Anyone can like whatever the heck they like. I would never try and changes anyone's opinions of anything, let alone a song. Songs are personal, they sound different to everyone, and the lyrics mean different things to different people. I don't care whatever people think of my favorite songs. It would just be nice to see what everyone who was introduced to U2 in the late 70's early 80's (like I was) thought about U2's career. Im sure the results of the polls would be different.

Mid-week matches usually kick off at 7.45 PM GMT, I think.

Never had a better opportunity to do them at Analfield (can I say that on here?)

If Please is SO much superior to Kite, then why did Kite come within an inch of beating it?

Clearly opinions are divided.

I just made my peace with you and then you go and get argumentative again. Sheesh.

Whenever I think of Andy Carroll, it always brings a smile to my face.   That and the term 'King Kenny'.

The songs are so completely different; the mood they invoke. Both are viscerally powerful.
