In te Rose Bowl intros, Bono talks about Larry faking his death. What's the story on that?

He introduced Larry is James Dean, (who died in 1955), jokingly saying James Dean faked his death Larry Mullen is really him, and he introduced Adam as Rhett Butler from Gone with the wind, and The Edge as the Mad Scientist, and himself as something between Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Devito, with a little Dennis Hopper thrown in.  Bono always has funny introductions of the band.
