I was watching the 360 dvd recently...

Do they really need to call attention to the other celebrities in attendance? Are they really so vain that they have to hear you mention them by name on stage?

Prince has been known to do that a few times too.  You've gotta have a big ego to get to rock superstar status in the first place.  Look at Paul McCartney.

I looked at Paul McCartney a couple of weeks ago at the Royal Albe Hall in London, England.

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Dude, he mentioned BUZZ ALDRIN. Hardly Mr. Celebrity. Frankly, the guy deserves a little celebrity for being an actual pilot and doing something besides being famous for having a reality show. He mentioned "all the stars were out". I love it when Bono plants his tongue in his cheek.

Not to mention that Buzz Aldrin, as an astronaut, fit the space theme of 360.

The B man was just trying to grab some reflected stardust for himself in mentioning Buzz.  And perhaps to make up for the In A Little While performance.

;D Thanks for reminding me of that intimate little song that disappeared in the stadium. That and Stuck..... :-\

In a Little While deserves a brass section to make it complete live. Without them, the song live just doesn't come off.

If U2 is going to continue to play these old songs, the least they could do is change up the arrangements a bit.

1) A mix of arena and staduium shows so they can mix it up more and play some rarities during the arena shows.  I woul like the arena show to be more for the the long time fan and die-hards.
2) No acoustic set-not a fan
3) No opening act-just play half hour longer would be nice.

Booo!!! Acoustic sets are sometimes one of the best parts of the show (besides Stuck In A Moment).

Depends on the acoustic set. Edge singing SBS and LIB acoustic would be sublime.

I like acoustic sets depending on the song selection.

1)More POP songs

2)Less Bono talk between songs so we get more music

3)A roof

Heh, I'm appalled by many of the requests in this thread.

I guess that's the downside of having such a long and varied career, picking up new fans in each different era. You end up with everyone wanting totally different things.

If they must play their songs acoustically, it should be limited to one per show.
