They're experimenting in methods of lulling listeners into a coma.

1. Lose the old warhorses (Streets, Pride, Sunday Bloody Sunday) and CREATE new ones: A Kind of Homecoming, Wire, and Please... these are songs that are no longer played. They should play them because these songs have the potential to become great staples of the future tour. Rarities (Tomorrow, Mothers of the Disappeared, etc.) can also be included.

2. Keep the long speeches out: No more unnecessary conversations between band members (when Edge and Bono started talking about someone's birthday at the Rosebowl concert, I was pi**ed!) and no more long speeches by Bono. For once, let the music do the talking.

3. Being an Indian, I want them to come to my country and do a concert. When artists like Metallica, Iron Maiden, Lady Gaga and Akon can come here and perform to sellout crowds there's no reason why U2 can't. 'Nuff said.

Can't disagree with that, but keep Streets.

Fist-O, I agree about India.....and Thailand, and Hong Kong, and Singapore, and Indonesia, and Malaysia.

Heck, they just barely played Russia for the first time in 360.

I blame McGuine$$.

Yeah, there are no shortage of stadiums or even smaller venues for U2 to play at in India.

They'd be performing in the 2nd largest stadium of the world! Salt Lake Stadium - capacity 120,000.

Wow. Look how far away the stands are from the field! It's like the LA coliseum x10.

It's what West Ham United's home ground will look like in a few years time.

Football fields are too big. If they took away some of the width and about a fifth of the length, I might watch.

Too much space midfield.

Bags of space for the wide receivers. ;)

But I agree, they're much too big for rock concerts.

Wide receivers? Sorry I didn't mean American football. I was talking about actual football(soccer to us in the states).
Either do a smaller field for soccer or allow the players to pick up and run with the ball like Australian rules football. That would up the excitement level.

But I agree. That stadium is so huge. Much too big. That's what I mean about soccer stadiums being almost too big for shows. They really are in most respects.
American football stadiums are generally(but not always) smaller than their global soccer counterparts because the field is smaller in American football and the stands are closer to the field. So they're not bad for shows as far as stadiums go.
