Do animated .gif images work on the forum?

I've tried a couple, and they're not working. It just shows the first slide. Is it not compatible with the forum?

I haven't had any problems with them on the forum. It could be your computer just stalling, it happens to me occasionally. It usually has something to do with a script running in the background.

I haven't had any problems with them on the forum. It could be your computer just stalling, it happens to me occasionally. It usually has something to do with a script running in the background.

It probably does work as a normal attachment, but I'm thinking more along the lines of a profile picture.

Ah, then the answer is no. Sorry. :(

It works fine in posts because we are only posting a link to the .gif where the profile pic is actually embedded, and the forum will not present it properly.
