Recently there has been many talk about a possible release in 2013, while there are plenty of other posts that also lowered their expectations and said 2014.

So... what do you think?

I'm still going with the first half of 2013 until and unless June 30 arrives with no new album.

2013 so I can laugh my ass off and have a new U2 album at the same time. Wishful thinking but I'm praying really really really hard.

I think it'll be 2013 as well.

I've had this underlying belief that there is still music being done, but they are keeping it under wraps. I also think Danger Mouse is still involved.

2014 no matter what any new forum member says or any other forum members' 2nd grade "scientific" calculations may say.

Or 2013.

:)

In time for the Christmas market 2013, or if they must fiddle with it, some time in early 2014 in time for the new tour commencing summer 2014.

That's the ticket, do what I always do: hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

2013, but were talking like November 26, 2013. The next album will indeed be a christmas release given that the music industry continues to decline. An artist can increase the sales of their album by 25% to 50% by just making sure its released just in time for Christmas. "New Album Release Promotion" plus people looking to buy something for family and friends is the perfect combination for increased sales.

If the band were looking to release the album in March of 2013, we would be hearing about it by now.

You might not know this but we have a new member who's heard rumblings on the band front from a top level source.

Ok, what month, year will the new album be released? What does the "top level source" say?

You'll have to ask the Executioner.

Unless they pull what Radiohead did with In Rainbows. Don't say they are too big for it either.
