5 years after they first came out.....
« on: February 16, 2009, 04:34:25 PM »
and 1 year after I broke my last one....I just got my 2nd U2 iPod.  Brand new.  Yes, I am obsessed. I wanted to make sure I was totally ready for NLOTH.  Just thought I would share. Which leads me to my next question.  For those of you with iPods, how many different U2 playlists do you have?

This one's actually my third, cause they did that for me last time.....unfortunately Apple's goodwill ran out when I accidentally ran over my last one with a chair. I'm a klutz.

I wouldn't buy an iPod, You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login and a few others are better. ;)

I had a (now discontinued) Cowon iAudio G3, but it was stolen. >:(
It was a simple model, 1GB flash, but the sound quality was fantastic. And it was powered by AA batteries, which I loved.

I will be the first to answer this question.  I have 3, Mach 1, Mach 2, Mach 3.  Mach 1 is boy to rattle and hum.  Mach 2 is achtung baby to pop, mach 3 is ATYCLB to (Maybe) NLOTH  it depends on if it really is an "upgrade" or change in direction.  I like to seperate things 8)

I had "U2 Boy/October/War" and "U2 UABRS/UF/JT"; then I had "U2 Live in Mexico City"; I did my own "U2 HTDAAB Extended Version" with "Fast Cars", "Mercy" and "Slide Away" at the end of that album; "U2 Remixes"  "U2 Covers" etc etc. I think I had a total of about 20. different playlists.

I don't have any U2 playlists.  I just listen to one album at a time - all the songs flow well together and I can't pair them with any others  :-[

I made playlists from each era. Boy era, October era, etc. At the end I have one called OH THE PAIN, which includes beach clips, new songs from the remasters such as Wave fo Sorrow and Angels Too Tied to the Ground, and the likes of Window in the Skies, The Saints are Coming, and I Believe in Father Christmas. Pretty much everything they've taunted us with over the past four years.  ;)
