There's zero rules about what is a "fan".

Remember "fan" is short for "fanatic".

If you consider liking one song out of 100 to be a fanatic, so be it.

I'd venture that maybe you are a fan of that SONG but I'd be in no place to cast aspersions on anyone's "fandom".

For those that need an actual number in order to grasp the idea of fandom it's very easy.

Enjoyment of listening to their music is the most important thing.  Collecting possessions is just materialism and nothing to do with real fan status.  It's not strictly necessary to listen the music *every* day in order to be considered a real fan, but if you don't, other fans might start whispering behind your back.

U2 is the only music on my iTunes at the moment, but i just can't get enough!  ::)

U2gorgeitis is an internationally recognised medical condition.
