I don't think its legit guys, I went on the channel to search further and there are hundreds similar
from different artists and I clicked on one titled 'ac-dc live' and it had the same music as the U2 one, as did all of them.

Probably just opportunists increasing hits for ads.  Making money off all us lunatics looking for a leak.

Nothing comes up on shazam for the tracks.

I think some of this is connected to the Mission Impossible work done by Clayton/Mullen.

sounds very amateur imo,
I'd say the material U2 would have at this stage is practically fully finished,
except for the inevitable changing of lyrics etc.

this actually sounds U2 ish, there seems to be 2-3 that are very different then the 'new age' guitar on the others...

Yep, feeling the same, but I went through quite a few and didn't find the 2-3 that sound somewhat legit on the hosts page.

no surprise, it seemed to be all spam.. with famous names as misleading titles to listen to amateur music.
the guitar work in some of those is nothing like the edge anyways.

Quote from: Friday
"I've heard the new album and it certainly is a development. U2 turns corners very quickly and what hits you is how fresh it sounds. With Edge involved, there is still plenty of guitar. They asked me what I thought and I told them I really liked it. It's definitely their most exciting release since Achtung Baby."

... and Furious! ;)

runtmg, do you reckon Friday's doing his own spruiking, or U2 put him up to it?

I just think Bono played the album for him and certainly didn't put a gag on him.

It's a nice little way to build up hype is to have friends of the band run around and talk about how great the album is.

Doesn't mean that Friday is lying but it also doesn't mean he is giving his own opinion untouched by U2 hype.
