Unknown Caller = Whip It (Devo)

While the BPMs are different, the intonation and overall syncopation are just about the same.

Try these lyrics on for size, replacing the Mac Laptop computer referencing during the middle eight, beginning around 2:38 (-3:25) and again at 3:32 (-2:28), including over the "Whoa's"

"Whip It" (Devo)
"Now whip it
Into shape
Shape it up
Get straight
Go forward
Move ahead
Try to detect it
Its not too late
To whip it
Into shape
Shape it up
Get straight
Go forward
Move ahead
Try to detect it (Or, "Tattoo Detective; it's not too late!")
Its not too late
To whip it
Whip it good

Also, the guitar solo beginning at 4:48 (-1:13) sounds very similar to the guitar solo in "Year of the Cat" (Al Stewart)... (2:44 / -1:53), for which I am pleased...

Hm. I didn't get a "Whip It" vibe at all...

I'm not saying that it's a bad thing that Unknown Caller sounds a bit like Devo's "Whip It".  Just give it a try.
