I've always heard 'Personal Jesus' in there somewhere too.

Tough, tough, tough choice.

I LOVE Love & Peace Or Else but I voted for Gold On The Ceiling.  Just a fantastic song.

I added this and Muse's "Uprising" just for fun.

I had to vote for Personal Jesus.  It's my favorite song of the choices presented and a reminder of Depeche Mode when they were at or near their best.

Tough one between Uprising and Personal Jesus, your "fun" ones!  ;)

I am purposely not voting for U2, since they are in their own category!  :-*

Tough... Spirit In The Sky is amazing and I really like Uprising, Love and Peace or Else and Gold On The Ceiling (which I had to look up to participate in this poll), but really I think Personal Jesus is the best. What an awesome riff.

I like the feel of all of these songs.

Spirit In The Sky is amazing

The reason I started this thread is because it came on the radio and for no particular reason at all, I cranked it. Holy smokes what an incredible riff.

I love the overly-fuzzy guitar. And the nice addition of backup vocals. Actually I just listened to that song on Sunday (not for the first time, but it reminded me of how much I love it).

So by "sound-alike", we're basically talking about a 6/8 (or 12/8) beat?

I don't know that I've heard the Muse or Black Keys songs (or maybe I have but just don't know the names).  As it is, I guess I'd vote for Personal Jesus, though it's just about the last song I look forward to at every DM concert.
