Most late night talk shows have the artist only do one song. Does Fallon do it differently?

Doubt it. They'll probably play 2 songs on TV with one over the credits, and then an extra for the just the people in the building.

Invisible, Ordinary Love (unless they only do that at the Oscars) and then something like Beautiful Day/Desire/COBL for the studio audience.

With Invisible still being available for 1.29, and money still being donated, I'd say that is what should be expected.

Yeah if it's only one song then it would clearly be Invisible..and if it's going to be another one over the credits it doesn't matter what they play really - maybe they'd toss it up on the web after but who knows. One (announced) guest leaves a lot of time to fill. I imagine there will be a ton of surprise cameos.

No, and we'll probably get a month to expect the album, not a solid release date

This is U2. They always get their way.

Some bands get to do a second song during the credits. I hope they do a new song , but if they do two, it will probably be Invisible and Ordinary Love because they still have an Oscar to win.

NORMAL artists do ONE song on Fallon. U2 isn't NORMAL, neither is Bruce.  :-*

Kimmel regularly lets bands do a second song during the credits.

They aren't there for us.

Their not there for publicity?

U2 are there for publicity; but they are not publicising to us. Rather it is for the casual U2 listener; the person who is likely to go to U2's gig when it next comes to their city, but don't spend countless hours following every move the band makes through fan sites. These people make up a large proportion of U2's fan base.

For the  fans that go to websites such as this one, they do not need to do any publicity.

I think......yes.  A snippet was aired during the Super Bowl and for folks, whom are not as familiar with U2's music.  They will get to hear the full song.

I think Ordinary Love and Invisible.  Too soon for a new song and doubt they will play any old ones
