So happy you had a great time, Zoo!  Really is a memory of a lifetime, huh?  Where did you stand?

Thanks OAP!

Hmmm. Well, Ordinary Love was a lot nicer than I expected; it's one song which is better acoustic than full band.

But I won't deny I was a bit disappointed with Invisible; I know some disagree but I was genuinely shocked at how bad Bono's voice was at times, notably on the second chorus and the "There is no them" coda. Presumably that was his best take which was picked too, so that doesn't bode well. But his voice was great on Ordinary Love, so at least we know that's not just the way he sounds now. Not bad by any means and I liked it more on the second listen, but...

Instruments sounded great, song will kill live and visuals all wonderful though.

To be honest, I thought Bono's voice sounded WAY better at my Sunday taping. Way, way better.

I honestly never pay much attention to what his voice sounds like pre album release and/or pre tour. Its almost like he needs to sing for two hours night after night for a few months to get his voice fully back in shape. It seems like he always has a little trouble in the beginning but blows it out of the water as time goes on.
