Should Edge remove his Beanie?
« on: March 03, 2014, 06:22:14 AM »
Just been looking at the pics from the Oscars and thinking how odd it looks to be in a suit wearing a beanie....so got to thinking, should he just remove his beanie, shave his head and look cool (like me) lol

No he should not. It's iconic. Like any icon the whole point is for it to stick out. Obviously funerals are a unique case. Self indulgence and expression is not the point. The oscars however is a parade in self indulgence and expression.

I agree. The beanie is iconic, and is part of his image.

I think the beenie has become a part of the Edge's head. He probably leaves it on while having sex.

It doesn't matter anymore, when he was young it was iconic, now it's just there.

Anyway Daft Punk run circles around his headgear.

No. He does look good without though, but it's part of his persona now

I say yes, remove it. There is a recent(I think) pic of Edge without the beanie, somewhere on his designated thread on The Band board. His head is shaved and he has the goatee. He looks so handsome...I would love to see him go out on tour like that.
