"iTunes may have revolutionized the music industry, but Apple’s taste in bands is questionable. What was up with Tim and Bono touching hands at the end of their horrible “can you please release my album on iTunes?” skit at the end of the keynote? It was beyond awkward. Apple security should have escorted Bono offstage and dumped him where the streets have no name."

Hahahaha!

Cheers,

J

Completely off-track, but did anyone else laugh at how sullen Larry was (as usual)? You can change your sound, but you cannot change your drummer's face...

Apparently Apple has paid a lot for U2 to release its new album for free.

Gee, that's a carefully researched article isn't it.

Mis-quoting / mis-applying NLOTH's CD sales for starters. The 100 million $ quote originally was referring to how much it was costing Apple to do this marketing, not how much U2 were being paid.

Overheard at a cafe while waiting for my chai:

Hipster Wannabe Guy talking on the phone: "WTF. There's a U2 album in my iTunes. Seriously, there's a U2 album in my iTunes! How the f*** did that get there? WTF, you too?! No. YOU. TOO. F***ing Apple!"

There's a lot of confusion today! haha

lol Someone should make a reaction collage to U2's album appearing in their iTunes library, similar to the ones they do for Game of Thrones and whatnot. The look on that guy's face was priceless. I'm sure there's a new version of Downfall in the works as we speak!

Ah, the comedy stylings of "Buster Hein". I can practically hear the tumbleweeds.
