360 Songs Worked Into Songs of Innocence Tunes
« on: September 12, 2014, 05:42:42 PM »
So what 360 songs does everyone hear in Songs of Innocence?

I can't stop thinking that North Star became Song for Someone. In SFS, The final verse especially is very similar to the first verse of North Star.  Their themes are similar, the music sounds like an evolution of North Star.  I just think they're so comparable.

Volcano, I believe, is a reworking of Glastonbury as well.  The 'YOU! ARE! Rock n'roll" section is very similar to the "YOU! ARE! A pocket full of sunshine!" of Glastonbury. The bridge of Volcano is Glastonbury's riff, and Bono described Glastonbury as a "kind of 70's thing" on 360.

Anyone hear anything else?
