It looks like what we have here ladies and gentlemen are a bunch of whiners. Some of the media and other worthless people are complaining about how U2 released their new superior album. If SOI was utter crap, I can understand some of the backlash. But this is getting a little out of hand. It's jealously--pure and simple!
You know how many artists and people are thinking: "Wow, I wish we had come up with this idea." If this was some crappy band like 1D, I don't think there would be this much uproar. There is so much turmoil in the Middle-East and some people here in the States are so stupid because they can't delete SOI from their library. Hey, guess what b!%c#*s? You all signed an agreement on ITunes so stop complaining. Apple had every right to download the album into your library. There is no "Invasion of Privacy".

"This is a thematically coherent collection of well-crafted pop songs, expertly played by accomplished musicians. Compared to the vast majority of rock records, that would make it a triumph."

Reading the title of the review, and then this near the end of the review, immediately invalidates the rest of the review.

I have to say that was the first time I've heard Brian Eno referred to as a culprit. I guess it's not surprising if he's not a fan of UF that he wouldn't like SoI.
