I'm loving this and The Crystal Ballroom. They both sound like album material, so I'm surprised they were included as bonus tracks.

Does anyone else think these two tracks are a hint at the sound Songs Of Experience might have?

Not really, just ones that didn't really fit on the album. The 'period' will probably be a wash of different themes and ideas.

Is it just me or is this songs a complete makeover of stingrai guitar? The music is almost the same. This time only with great lyrics on it.

Great song!

I'm getting serious deja vu listening to the song, especially the main riff and the little bridge leading into the verses. Does anyone know if they've heard this elsewhere? Especially in a HTDAAB or No Line bootleg? I feel like I've heard the guitar bit, and recently..

Drake: it's basically Stingray Guitar.

I'm not a huge fan of that riff but the song is pretty good overall and yeah, it's probably their most consistently good album.

Not quite sure why this one and Crystal Ballroom didn't make the album cut, but they're both great in my book. This one deflates a little near the end, but then so did Stingray live, I think.

There it is, thank you. It just completely escaped my mind for some reason. Off to learn it, then.

Both songs to me actually sound like B sides. Like what they are. They're fine, but I'm not sure they cut it on the album.

I am glad Stingray has been developed into a song proper. This way fans will never wonder, "What if?"

No not great at all...definately a B-side and also in the Dad rock category...
I much prefer Crystal as its inventive and something new.
File Lucifer under All Because of you, Boots, Miracle, Stand Up....please no more of this style

This has surpassed Crystal Ballroom for me. It would have effortlessly slipped into the original album's tracklist.
