No not great at all...definately a B-side and also in the Dad rock category...
I much prefer Crystal as its inventive and something new.
File Lucifer under All Because of you, Boots, Miracle, Stand Up....please no more of this style

Are you serious? This is an absolutely cracking tune compared to the ones you've listed, I'm absolutely loving it.

It doesn't really do anything for me. I'd say "b-side" for sure. The riff is pretty cool, but after that.....lyrics etc just pass me by. Crystal Ballroom should have been on the main album though.

No one mentioning the obvious nod to "Rejoice"?

"I Can Change the world...But I can't change the world in me" - LH

"I can't change the world, but i can change the world in me" - Rejoice

I'm very disappointed with this song to be honest. I feel as if it starts out at one pace and maintains it throughout, never really going anywhere exciting at all.

I hate the fact that the killer live track called Return Of The Stingray Guitar turned into this.

The lyrics are fairly good but the song sounds way too overproduced. Edge's riff doesn't hit you like it should (in the way that The Miracle's riff does) and everything sounds a bit too turned down on the volume side.

Where's the rock and roll?? It's missing Adam's pounding bass and Larry's driving drums.

Also, the bridge is awful. It just goes nowhere and it drags the song out more than is necessary. Such a disappointment.

My first reaction was similar to an tha's. It's an amazing song that would have fit well either just after "Volcano" (my preference) or just before TIWYCRMN. I'm even partial to the idea of it as an album opener for a truly jarring effect, but post-"Volcano" still is best.

I love TCB almost as much and would have placed it just after "The Miracle." Had both songs been on SOI, I might have evaluated the album as a classic. In fact, I think disc 2 of the special edition surpasses SOI artistically. Some meld of both discs would have been killer.

This could play in an old Tarantino movie.

LH and TCB are on SOI, just not for free!  ;)

Still loving LH, and yes, I know I'm in the minority that I like it more than TCB.

I also still love This Is Where You Can Reach Me Now and it's sitting there begging for a single release!

Not quite sure how I feel about this song. I like it quite a bit, about the same as TCB, but I do think that the riff is a bit less powerful here than it was in Stingray.

Dirtier groove than TCB, but the break loses me. TCB is amazing beginning to end. But LH is still really good!

I really dig LH but I prefer TCB. Both very solid songs and I wish both would have been on the original release...Maybe drop This is Where You Can...
And for those of you complaining why both or one of these songs (Crystal Ballroom and LH) wasn't on the original release, it's because U2 are geniuses. Do you really think if the Deluxe version only had the acoustic songs, people would buy it? I am a huge U2 fan, but I wouldn't buy the Deluxe version without the 2 new bonus tracks.
The only reason why I bought it was so I can hear the 2 new tracks and support my favorite band. Also, having Invisible as the hidden track is another clever move by the band.
Anyway, no need to doubt our boys from Ireland. They have shown that they are not only business-savvy but can only still produce incredible music.
