What's your favorite live album/ performance?
« on: October 14, 2014, 05:38:57 PM »
My favorite live album is probably the one seen here: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Sadly, I lost it and the Ipod it was on  :(. Besides that I'd probably have to go with Under a Blood red sky. It may jut be nostalgia, but I absolutely love that album. My favorite live song by U2 is Bad at live aid. It really was an incredible performance.

Anyway what's your favorite live albums/performances?

PS: If anyone knows where to get that album(Zoo tv live) at a decent price(preferably digitally), that would be great. Heck, if someone would be willing to send me the file or burn cd, I'd pay you for it. That's may not be legal though  :P

Today I was listening to the bonus cd from the TUF remaster. I was entranced by the live performance of Bad from NEC, Birmingham... That's my favorite one for today

I have a few:

Rattle & Hum: Sunday Bloody Sunday

Zoo TV in Sydney: The whole Intro/Zoo Station/Fly/Real Thing/Mysterious Ways/One/UTEOTW sequence is masterful.
also the encore sequence: Crashed Car/Lemon/WOWY/Love is Blindness/Can't Help Falling in Love - spine chilling stuff!

Popmart in Mexico City: Please into Streets is amazing.

Elevation in Boston: Bad/40/Streets is awesome.

360 Rose Bowl: Beautiful Day-In God's Country

Zoo TV from Sweden, June 8, 1992. Great, great show. It blows away Zoo TV from Sydney, Australia. They played 10 songs(!) from AB, including a full band version of Wild Horses. Never get tired of listening to this show.

Runner Up: New Years Eve show from 12/31/1989 at the Point Depot, Dublin.

As for a song - SBS from Rattle & Hum - wish it was included on the cd.
